About Us
Your Child is in Great Hands

Our Philosophy
We believe children need a warm and caring environment where families and the wider community feel connected and welcomed at all times.
Children at Moriah Kindergarten are inspired, challenged, stimulated and encouraged to have fun and learn. They learn how to be a community of children; engaged, working and playing together, displaying our Moriah Values, and thinking and acting sustainably.
About Moriah
Moriah is a sustainable community. Tamariki plant, care for and harvest from our garden. We want to give our children as many opportunities as possible to experience the natural world. We regularly take small groups to explore our local forest and to visit eco shops.

We cater for up to 25 children from two to five years with an excellent teacher/child ratio, meaning more teachers per child than many other kindergartens and preschools.

We have two session options available 8am-2.30pm and 8am-4pm. We are open all year apart from four weeks over the summer.

Moriah Kindergarten is a proud
Living Wage Employer and have
strong Child Protection procedures
in place.
